Russ Crowder claims that in the race for the Republican nomination for Flathead County commissioner for District 1, I’m running on the platform “Russ Crowder is picking on me.”

Actually, my platform could more accurately be called “Using facts, not emotions, for real solutions to today’s problems.”

People who look at the facts can get a lot accomplished. If you’ll look at my most recent correspondence, I actually thanked Russ for his letter, and I meant it sincerely. Russ Crowder has given my campaign a notable boost in support and donations.

So, once again, thanks, Russ. Keep writing. With your help, I believe people are being inspired to look at the facts. And when they do, I get a great response.

People, no matter who you vote for, please vote informed. To find out if you think I’m the man for the job, please look me up online at www.adamsforcommissioner.com or call me at 250-4950.

If I’m fortunate enough to be elected in November, I look forward to working with you all, even Russ.

Doug Adams is a Republican candidate for Flathead County commissioner.

Idiots and God-haters pervert the Constitution

Idiots. That’s the first word that came to my mind as I read the article “Church-state battle envelops school choirs” in the Dec. 5 Daily Inter Lake. It seems that our Wisconsin friends, the Freedom from Religion Foundation, who care so deeply about us here in Montana, are very concerned that our public school kids are being allowed to sing songs.
