André O. Lippens, 80, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012, of natural causes, at a local hospital. 

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Croxford Funeral Home.

André was born May 5, 1932 to Adolph and Margarite (VanTighem) Lippens in Great Falls. He attended school in Collins and Dutton and graduated from Kalispell High School. 

He served in the Army and was self-employed. 

He is survived by nephews Robert and John Blanchet; nieces Diane Beecher and Stephanie Dunaway; brother-in-law Russell Blanchet; nine great-nephews and nieces; and four great great-nephews and niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Blanchet.
