The Memorial Day flag raising at 1 p.m. today (Memorial Day) at Conrad Cemetery’s veteran memorial honors Dorothy Orser Groose, her husband and her extended family of veterans with a military history stretching to the Battle of the Big Hole and the famous Bruce of Scotland in medieval times.
