Potholes Reservoir is rapidly rising allowing much better access for duck hunters and bass and walleye fishers. Walleye have remained slow but will explode very soon. One fisher reported a 12lb 8oz walleye caught boat fishing off the face of O'Sullivan Dam. Medicare Beach has been producing trout up to 4lbs for bank fishers. The Medicare Beach Area is still showing some perch in water 16 feet or deeper.

New ducks and geese are coming to the Potholes Recreation Area daily. Call MarDon Resort at (509) 346-2651 for more information on hunting or fishing. We are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
