Rebecca Jane (Corliss) Lee was born in rural Hebron, Neb., on April 21, 1922, and passed away Oct. 31, 2012, in Coeur d’Alene.

She was a homemaker and keypunch operator during her working years.

She was married to Clayton Robert Lee from Grand Island, Neb., on April 25, 1944. They met when they graduated from the School for the Deaf in Omaha, Neb. They moved to Los Angeles, Calif., after their honeymoon trip. When they retired they moved to Coeur d’Alene and wintered in Mesa, Ariz. Their children are Corliss (Lee) Ritterling who is married to Larry Ritterling and Jerry Lee who is married to Jeri (Clark) Lee.

Rebecca Jane is the grandmother of Jennifer Ritterling, Megan Lee and Michael Ritterling who is married to Gretchen (Robb) Ritterling and Austin Lee who is married to Ellen (Estes) Lee and is a great-grandmother to Vivian Estes Lee.

Rebecca Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben Corliss and Helen Maude Miller Corliss; sisters, Beth Davis of Riverton, Wyo., Willa Ann Terhune of Carson City, Nev., Reuberta Eickman of Hebron; and brother Mirza Corliss of Deshler, Neb.

No services will be held locally. Jane will be interred in the Rosehill Cemetery in the family plot in Hebron following cremation at English Funeral Chapel.
