Our Hearts Hurt… On Nov. 4, 2012, Sharon Amos joined her parents and siblings in Heaven. Born Dec. 14, 1945, in Salem, Ore., to David and Berchie Nixon. Sharon was the youngest of 11 children.
Married to Gordon Amos for 41 great years, Sharon and Gordon had six children that they taught well. Their children, Rob and Zara Amos, Melissa and Kenny Boler, Rena and Cory Clark, Terrina and Juan Garcia, Shawn and Angie Amos, Kristi and Eric Clancy. Sharon and Gordon were blessed with tons of grandchildren, with two great-grandchildren on the way, which they are so proud of.
Her ashes will be spread over Cocolalla Lake, where she loved to fish with her grandma Sue. Special thanks to the Hospice House which made her final days so very peaceful.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the Sherman-Knapp Funeral home, 423 W. Second St., Newport, Wash., with a reception to follow at the grange building in Blanchard.
