$4,400 reward offered in deer poaching case

Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Game Wardens are looking for information that will lead to the conviction of the person(s) involved in the illegal shooting of at least 19 deer during a two-year period in the Whitefish area.
These deer were shot and left to rot; some of the antlers were taken. Most shootings occurred at night on Farm to Market Road, Twin Bridges Road, Voerman Road, Monegan Road and other back roads in the Whitefish area.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Crimestoppers hotline, 752-8477 or 1-800-TIPMONT. MT FWP Game Wardens have been investigating this case for some time. Wardens are asking for help from the public. Anyone with any information is urged to call.
