Betty Lee Atwood, 85, passed away on Nov. 11, 2012, at Creekside Inn Assisted Living in Coeur d’Alene.

Betty was born on March 8, 1927, in California.

She married Jack Atwood on May 11, 1973, in Martinez, Calif., and they relocated to Coeur d’Alene in 1996.

Betty enjoyed painting and decorating, as well as thrift and antique store shopping. She volunteered her time working at the Blood Bank.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 2007.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Baum (Mike); her son, James Swanson (Deborah); two granddaughters, Pauline Currie (Steve) and Stephanie White (Justin); and three great-grandchildren, Alexis Allen, Kyla Currie and AJ Currie.

Betty will be laid to rest at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens in Coeur d’Alene at a Private Family Inurnment. No other services will be held.
