Press poll: Pessimism reigns post-election

In a state that voted for Mitt Romney en masse, perhaps it's no wonder that readers of cdapress.com aren't wildly enthusiastic about the state of the nation.

Asked, "With the election over, how optimistic are you now?", here's how Press voters responded:

• 389 voters said they're "very optimistic"

• 259 voters said they're "the same as before"

• 919 voters said they're "very pessimistic"
