Woman has cat-astrophic situation

The Kalispell Police Department received a report from a Greendale Court woman at her wits’ end. She wanted to know what to do about a cat stuck in her wall that wouldn’t come out. She told a dispatcher that she didn’t know what she could or should do, and that the cat had “been in there for three days now.”
An overly trusting woman gave another woman $1,650 in cash in exchange for that woman going home and writing her a check for the same amount. The woman she gave the cash to never returned.
A procrastinating victim who didn’t report a vehicle being broken into in the previous month finally called police after someone started writing checks from the stolen checkbook.
A woman working alone at a West Center Street business was afraid after a man tapped on her window, ran off and hid behind the neighboring building.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a person with Adult Protective Services in Polson who found a 90-year-old woman wandering on the highway. The woman refused to speak with anyone associated with Lake County.
A Montana Highway Patrol trooper requested the assistance of a deputy after the drunk, unresponsive man he was dealing with suddenly became responsive and began giving the trooper a hard time.
A woman scared she might be in a horror movie reported a man standing in her driveway with his hood up and something in his hand that looked like a chain saw. A car pulled up nearby and may have picked up the man.

A woman then came in and asked to buy the beer, and the clerk refused. The clerk believed the two were headed to another gas station to try again.
