ELECTION

The election is over,

Gee, that was such fun.

We are back where we started;

We are now at square one.

More rules to abide by,

more freedoms to go.

We have the same players

who must somehow agree,

To help solve our problems

and keep us all free.

The Era of Change is about to begin;

It's time to get working,

get on with the show.

Our future's at stake;

Four more years of nothing

Will cause us to break.

- Virginia Burnet, Coeur d'Alene

SOMETHING INSIDE CRYING

I cannot meet all of your needs

Something inside of me cried.

You've used me up. Drained me dry.

I need a place to hide.

I cannot make up for you

All of your lost dreams.

I cannot make your whole world turn

Something inside of me screams.

I need some space. I need some air.

I need, for a moment, to be free.

I cannot be all things to you

And have anything left of me.

- Sara Lowery, Hayden
