Polson Subway burglarized by employee with bowling pin

POLSON - On Friday Nov. 9 at approximately. 07:15 p.m., a burglary at the Subway in Polson was reported to the Polson Police Deptartment. Polson Police Officer Cory Anderson responded to the call. Anderson and Detective Alan Booth of Polson Police Department were able to identify a suspect, 20- year-old Scott Harpine of Polson, also an employee of Subway.
A search of Harpine’s residence revealed items that were stolen in the burglary. It was determined that Harpine used a bowling pin to break out a window in one of the doors to gain entry into the building. A small amount of cash was stolen during the burglary.
By 8pm that night, Harpine was arrested and booked into the Lake County Detention Facility for Felony Burglary and Felony Criminal Mischief.

Shoulder taps lead to four arrests
LAKE COUNTY — On Monday, Aug. 22, members of the Lake County/CSKT Joint Alcohol Enforcement Team conducted Alcohol Compliance Checks to determine if local establishments would serve alcohol to minors. When asked, the minor was to produce their own valid identification card which shows the minor to be under the age of 21. There was no attempt to deceive the servers. Eight local businesses were picked at random. All eight passed.
