A confused and frightened Ponderosa Street resident contacted the Kalispell Police Department after she awoke to find a strange man sleeping on her couch. The man, in his 20s, said his name was Greg and that he didn’t know how he got there. He had come in through the back door and left after the woman woke him.

An angry man tried to punch another man through the window of his vehicle on East Idaho Street. When the motorist tried to roll up his window, the man broke the window, yelling and screaming.

An observant passer-by reported a man jumping a fence on Empire Loop while carrying a lot of stuff in his hands, while another man was jumping into the house.

A man wearing a ski mask and gloves was caught on video peering into a business on South Main Street.

A hotel employee asked for extra patrols near the U.S. 93 South business after he chased away a pair of transients, who then moved under the stairwell near the pool. One of the transients became confrontational when asked to leave. They eventually left.

Extra patrols were requested on South Main Street, where youths hang out in the parking lot at night, urinate on the back door and keep the neighbors up.

A man who lost his wallet a week ago finally reported it stolen after someone started using his credit cards.

A man was arrested on a warrant on Fifth Avenue West.

A pair of unruly shoplifters were cited and released at a business on U.S. 93 North.

A generator was stolen from a jobsite on Bismarck Street.
