PLAINS - Philip Gonzalez, Sr. 94, of Plains passed away at his home Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012 from natural causes. A rosary service will be held Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6:00 p.m. and Mass Friday Nov. 30 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Plains. Followed by burial at Plains Cemetery.

Philip was a WWII vet, who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, where he received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and several other medals. He is survived by his wife Rachel and five children, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
