Seidl to serve two-year LDS mission

Loryn Matthew Seidl, 19, son of Mike and Connie Seidl of Post Falls, has been called to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and entered the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah on Nov. 14.

He will be serving in the Benin, Cotonou Mission which is between Ghana and Nigeria in East Africa. Benin is one of the poorest countries in the world with an unusual culture. This new French speaking mission was newly opened in 2011.

Seidl graduated from Post Falls High School where he excelled in academics, band, choir and Cross Country. He also graduated from LDS Seminary and is an Eagle Scout.
