'Spotlight on Kids' benefit scheduled for Saturday

COEUR d'ALENE - Christian Youth Theater-North Idaho is teaming up with Kid Centric Sports Association to co-host a benefit dinner and auction, "Spotlight on Kids," 5 p.m. Saturday at the Best Western Coeur d'Alene Inn.

Proceeds will go to purchase technical equipment for CYT and to subsidize competitive expenses for Team Avant Coeur Gymnasts, KCSA's home program.

CYT-North Idaho and KCSA, both nonprofits, share a common goal of building character in children and molding future leaders.

The event will feature a four-course meal, silent auction, live auction and entertainment by children from both organizations.

Tickets are $25.
