Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens have been investigating as many as 11 deer found shot and left to waste in areas around Whitefish.

The crimes were committed in the early morning hours starting Wednesday, Sept. 5, and several additional days following during the nighttime or early morning hours.

The suspects are expected to have knowledge of the areas around the Lodgepole, Twin Bridges, Farm to Market and Voerman roads and other back roads in those areas.

Wardens are asking for help from the public in this case.  Anyone with any information is urged to call 1-800-TIPMONT.
