The Lady Panther volleyball team came out swinging during their homecoming game on Thursday against Seeley-Swan.

Packed stands and a boisterous cheering section pumped up Alberton and the Panthers went blow for blow against the Blackhawks in four intense games of volleyball.

Junior Delani Hanley led the Panthers with 11 kills and 14 digs and kept the pressure on Seeley-Swan throughout the match.

Juniors Haley Marvin and Ryan Vicek matched the best that the Blackhawks had to offer on the service line with four aces apiece and sophomore Priya Jopek led the team with three blocks.

The Panthers fought hard, but fell short to Seeley-Swan in four games.
