POLSON — The Lady Pirates could not keep up with Whitefish last Thursday, dropping to the Lady Bulldogs 8-0.
POLSON — The Lady Pirates could not keep up with Whitefish last Thursday, dropping to the Lady Bulldogs 8-0.
Polson goalkeeper Keely Clairmont was bombarded by Whitefish, as the team fired 25 shots on goal in the game.
While eight of those shots were able to get by her, Clairmont was still able to snare 17 of them for saves.
All eight of Whitefish’s goals were scored by a different player, with Becca Holdhusen drawing blood first at the 16-minute mark.
Polson falls to 2-6 on the year and 2-4 in conference play. The Lady Pirates will take on Libby on Oct. 4.
