MOSES LAKE - Big Bend Community College (BBCC) enjoyed its biggest turnout for the annual Viking Booster Club golf tournament held Oct. 5 at the Moses Lake Golf and Country Club, as 19 foursomes participated in the event.

"Thanks in large part goes to the support of local celebrities Ryan Doumit, of the Minnesota Twins, and BJ Garbe, former first round pick of the Twins," BBCC Athletic Director Preston Wilks said. "The event is the booster cub's largest fundraising event of the year."

Wilks said he expects to net approximately $2,000 from the tournament. The proceeds will be used to provide financial support to athletic teams at BBCC.

The winning men's foursome was made up of Reed Raymond, Chris Blessing, John Forsberg and CD Hoiness.

The top women's four some was comprised of Mary Shannon, Anne Fisher, Sarah Bullinger and Carol Eidsvig.
