Lady Hawks continue to blaze by the competition

THOMPSON FALLS – The Lady Hawks continued their winning streak Tuesday night, defeating the Libby Loggers with yet another sweep (25-19, 25-22, 25-23).

The game was an even match, with the Lady Hawks fighting Libby point-by-point to get the win.

Thompson Falls had 35 kills with Hope Reid leading with 14. The ladies had 12 blocks with Reid managing half of them. The Lady Hawks had a total of 45 digs with Logan Beckman leading and had 32 assists with Allison Vaught pulling out all but two of them. Erica Sorlie scored the only ace of the game.

PLAINS – The Koo-Koo-Sint fires have merged after 25 to 30 mile per hour winds, 95-degree weather and 15 percent relative humidity came together to create perfect conditions for the fire to grow.
