On Thursday William M. Schwald, 22, was arrested at Spokane International Airport on a Kootenai County warrant charging him with felony burglary, stemming from a break-in in the Seventh Street area of Coeur d'Alene.
Schwald's accomplice, Steven R. Keniston, 22, was arrested Wednesday on burglary charges and currently is in custody, police said.
Post Falls police Wednesday arrested James E. Porter, 23, on suspicion of two counts of burglary and one count of grand theft, police said.
A warrant was issued for suspicion of felony burglary for Porter's accomplice, Samuel Z. Fetterhoff, 22.
Also Wednesday, Melissa A. Roos, 20, was arrested for suspicion of burglary and criminal conspiracy in relation to alleged criminal activities involving both Schwald and Porter, police said.
Since August, law enforcement agencies in Kootenai County have investigated more than 80 daytime residential burglaries.
Notably, many of the crimes have been committed to support drug addictions, with suspects using methamphetamine, heroin, and oxycontin, police said.
