Many sand dune hunters experienced limit level duck hunting on opening day. Hunters on the duck taxi averaged 5.7 birds a man. After a beautiful September and early October the Guns of Autumn enjoyed a weather change with rain and 10-20 MPH winds from the South Southeast. Good waterfowl action was reported from both Frenchman's Wasteway and Winchester Wasteway last weekend. With low water levels boat access into the sand dunes is limited to primary channels. Remember to always be extremely cautious when boating in the sand dunes on Potholes Reservoir.

Hunt 25,000 private acres of farmland in Royal City, Washington
Open to a limited number of hunters each year, the Royal Hunt Club is a fundraiser by the Royal Slope Youth Boosters, a non-profit organization whose sole mission is to raise money for after-school activites for kids in the Royal City area.
Within 25,000 acres of privately owned farmland, hunters will find a variety of crops grown including corn, wheat and others in which to roam and likely never see another hunter on the same ground.
In addition to native wildlife including pheasant, duck and goose, the Royal Hunt Club raises generously sized pheasants and releases them throughout hunting season.
Sign up today: $300 for the season, $120 for a three-day pass. First come, first served!
We appreciate your support! With the success of this program, the Royal Youth Boosters has been able to enhance after-school activities in many ways:
