Fred and Dorothy Reed

60th Anniversary

Fred and Dorothy Reed, of Coeur d'Alene, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 4, 2012.

Both Fred and Dorothy are retired. Their sons are Frank Reed of Omak, Wash., Jeff Reed of Spokane and Mark Reed of Coeur d'Alene. They have 12 grandchildren and "too many to count" great-grandchildren.

They plan to celebrate with friends and relatives from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at the Dragon House Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene. Their sons, Frank, Jeff and Mark Reed will be hosting the celebration. Please no gifts.

WEDDING

Nachtwey-Buchanan

Jesse and Lynn Nachtwey are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Vanesa Nachtwey to Paul Buchanan. Paul is the son of Chris and Hardy Buchanan of Hauser Lake.

The couple were married July 22, 2012, in Hayden Lake followed by a honeymoon in Belize.

Paul is employed by Rock Tech USA and Vanesa is employed by Kynrede Cafe as their manager and also as office manager at Credit Services. They presently reside in Coeur d'Alene.

Berlynn Ann Waldvogel was born at 10:19 p.m. Oct. 3, 2012, to Jaki Waldvogel and Logan Casto of Coeur d'Alene. She weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Brother is Waylon Velin. Maternal grandparents are Carie Duncan and Jamie Waldvogel. Paternal grandparents are Deana Casto and Gene Casto.

Kira Lee Lorraine Holloway was born at 12:52 p.m. Oct. 12, 2012, to Crystal and James Holloway of Post Falls. She weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Kira's big sister is Novalee and her half-brother is Jimmy. Maternal grandparents are Brian and Valerie Owen of Hayden. Paternal grandparents are Ruby Weidemann-Enyeart of Chawelah and James Holloway of La Grande, Ore.

Molly Elise Schaller was born at 3:29 p.m. Aug. 20, 2012, to Elizabeth and John Schaller of Coeur d'Alene. She weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 21 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Skip and Gayle Wright. Paternal grandparents are Marc and JoAnn Schaller.

McKinley Lynn Turner was born at 10:47 p.m. Sept. 27, 2012, to Felicia Vandaveer and Nickolas Turner of Post Falls. She weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Cheryl and Kirk Vandaveer. Paternal grandparents are Steve and Debra Turner.

MILITARY

Air Force Airman Brandon N. Janshen graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Janshen is the son of Traci Brooks and Dwane Janshen of Post Falls.

He is a 2010 graduate of Post Falls High School.

Navy Lt. j. g. Vincent Coleman, a 2002 graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School, was recently designated a Naval Aviator while serving with Training Squadron 21, Naval Air Station, Kingsville, Texas.

Coleman was presented with the coveted "Wings of Gold," marking the culmination of months of flight training.

Coleman followed a training curriculum that included basic studies in engineering and navigation, training flights in simulators, aircraft familiarizations, basic and advanced instrument training, extended navigation flights, and landings and takeoffs aboard an aircraft carrier.
