Helen Grace Hamburg, 92, a longtime Moses Lake resident passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Summerwood Care Center. There will be no service per her request. Helen was born July 25, 1920 in Wheeler, Washington daughter of the late Henry and Lena Geist. She attended Ritzville Schools and married Jake Hamburg on December 17, 1939. They had one son, Russell. Helen was a homemaker and enjoyed canning fruit and making pies. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She attended the Moses Lake Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son Russell (Pam) Hamburg; grandson Jared (Emily) Hamburg; great-granddaughter Abigail Hamburg; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jake; grandson John Hamburg; great-grandson Ian Matthew Hamburg; sisters Ruth Telecky, Marie Soltis and Esther Bluhm.
