C-Falls, Eureka drop 1st round road games in football playoffs

ANACONDA — Anaconda, hosting its first home football playoff game in 23 years, rolled to a 32-14 Class A first-round victory over Columbia Falls on Saturday.
Anaconda (7-3) took a 12-0 lead in the opening quarter on a 73-yard run by Eric Boyd and Ethan Reich returned a blocked punt for a touchdown.
The Copperheads led 20-7 at the half.
Anaconda returned a pass interception for a 50-yard touchdown to complete the scoring in the fourth quarter.
Columbia Falls (4-5) scored on a pair of touchdown passes from Jared Trinastich — 75 yards to Josiah Osborne and 6 yards to Dyllon Parker.
Anaconda moves on to play at fifth-ranked Livingston (7-1) on Saturday.

MANHATTAN — Quinn McQueary passed for five touchdowns and ran for another, all in the first half, as top-ranked Manhattan/Manhattan Christian (9-0) crushed Eureka (3-6) in a first-round game.
McQueary had TD passes of 29, 8, 34, 72 and 41 yards.
He was 8 of 13 passing for 238 yards. he ran six times for 69 yards.
Eureka scored on a 43-yard run by Chris Ibach and a 35 yard pass from Austin Perez to Nikko Bakkila.
Ibach had 86 yards rushing on 14 attempts.
