Grant County commissioners seek candidates for land use board

EPHRATA - The Grant County Board of Commissioners is looking for citizens of Grant County to serve a one-year term on the Grant County Current Use Advisory Committee.
Grant County created this committee pursuant to the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 84.34.145.
Committee members act in an advisory role to the county assessor in implementing assessment guidelines as established by the Department of Revenue for the assessment of open space, farms and agricultural lands and timber lands classified under this chapter.
There is no compensation for serving on this volunteer committee. Meetings are held annually in January in the Commissioners Hearing room at the Courthouse in Ephrata.
Special meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
