St. Regis digs its way to a win

The St. Regis Tiger volleyball team headed to Noxon on Thursday looking for their first win. 

Under the leadership of Gabby Moeller, the Tigers found that win in a long, hard-fought, five game battle. 

The sophomore led the team in nearly every category with 10 kills, 15 assists, two blocks and five digs. 

Another sophomore, Brittany Nelson, led the Tigers with six of the team’s 10 total aces. 

St. Regis won 3-2, (22-25,25-12,26-24,24-26,15-6) and will face off at home Thursday against Arlee before making the short trip to play Superior on Saturday.
