FALL: All help appreciated

I would like to personally thank all of the firefighters, Brad, Jason, Michael, and the others I did not know that came to my house during my latest fall that resulted in yet another concussion. They were both very compassionate and professional. I would like to thank my neighbors who comforted my daughter Shelly and grandson Conner when they could not wake me due to the loss of blood and being unconscious. You kept her cool and calm when she really needed it. I want to thank my wonderful Bishop Don Duffy for administering a wonderful blessing at the hospital. It was greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank Dr. Michael Ettner in the hospital ER for remembering me from my last two bad falls. Dr. Ettner's nurses Justin and Chris were super while I was waiting to get the CAT scan on my brain and were very fast with the extra hot blankets that were so appreciated. While I appreciated everyone that helped, I was not fond of the ambulance ride on the board or the uncomfortable neck brace. It was greatly appreciated. I promise I will use the metal ladder from now on and forgo the use of the wooden ones. Once again, I am very sorry to have caused anyone such fear and concern. I truly believe the Lord has guardian Angels to watch over us and most of them are in the form of our family and friends.

Sincerely,

KATHY SCHNELL

MEAL: Thanks for paying

What a delightful and wonderful surprise. On Aug. 29 we were having lunch at the Broken Egg. To our surprise, our waitress said "Your meal is paid for." We don't know who you were but so want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. No one has ever done that for us before. The saying "angels walk among us" is so true. You are angels.

RAMP: Lions, others made it possible

I would like to thank the Post Falls Lions Club for installing a wheelchair ramp for my mom, Vicki R. Warren-Robins. Thanks goes out to Nancy Hedegaard, Bob Hubof and everyone from the Post Falls Lions Club for making this possible. I encourage anyone with talent and time to volunteer to contact your local Lions Club. Good people, doing good things, for good people in need. Thanks Bob (Run for Mayor of Post Falls.)"

Thank you so much for your time,

ROD E. ROBINS
