RONAN — Flathead’s Zach Perrin and Bigfork’s Makena Morley cruised to easy victories Saturday at the Ronan Invitational cross country meet.

Perrin was the lone runner to crack 15 minutes, dipping well under that time with a 14-minute, 28-second run.

He finished 47 seconds ahead of Adam Peterman of Missoula Hellgate.

“He went out fast and didn’t look back,” Flathead coach Paul Jorgensen said of Perrin.

“He was pretty happy.”

“They are getting faster every meet.”

Polson’s Claudia Hewston finished sixth, 18:48.

The Missoula Hellgate boys and Hamilton girls claimed team titles.

The Flathead boys were second.

“The rest of our guys ran pretty well,” Jorgensen.
