Wampus Cats' offense slowed in loss to Warriors

HARRISON FLATS — Sophomore Simeon Desautel carried for 117 yards and a touchdown and also had two interceptions on the defensive side to lead the Warriors past the Wampus Cats 52-6 in North Star League football Friday night at Kootenai High School.

“We came out strong from the start and were able to get in the end zone on the first series,” Kootenai coach Doug Napierala said. “Defensively, we just stuffed them all night long.”

Axel Anderson hauled in a 51 yard strike from Zack Klein for the on touchdown for the Wampus Cats (2-2, 1-1 NSL), who couldn’t seem to get their offense going against the Warriors (2-2).

Clark Fork hosts Wallace next Friday.
