MOSES LAKE - Grant County sheriff's deputies are investigating several property crime cases throughout the county.
Deputies served a search warrant Monday at a home in rural Moses Lake where a stolen vehicle was reported, according to information released Thursday.
Also found in the home were narcotics and a firearm.
Emanuel Ayala, 28, of Othello, was arrested. Ayala had an outstanding felony warrant for escape from community custody. He was booked into Grant County Jail.
Deputies then responded to a burglary Tuesday in rural Ephrata.
They were led to a trailer park in Soap Lake were they discovered a flatbed truck containing stolen property.
The truck was impounded for application of a search warrant, a report said.
Both investigations are ongoing, and additional criminal charges are likely, Sheriff Tom Jones said.
"In both of these incidents, Grant County deputies were able to follow up on tips provided by vigilant citizens who reported their observations," Jones said. "I am grateful for the partnership with our communities and I encourage citizens to keep calling us with information to help solve crimes."
