EPHRATA - It was a two - day season championship weekend at Ephrata Raceway Park.

The action got underway Saturday starting with the Jerry's Auto Supply Racing Series with the Ephrata Pioneer Muffler II Pure Stocks, Pepsi Racing Street Stocks and the Jerry's Auto Supply 360 Sprints, and ended Sunday with the Thaemert Farms hosted I.C.A.R. Late Model Series with the Wenatchee Valley  Super Oval Big 5 Late Models.

I.C.A.R. Late Model Series returned to Ephrata Raceway Park for their season championship along with the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval Big 5 Late Model s. 

With the 13 field of cars, Andy Brown and Bart Hector Jr. batted it out for the lead only to have long time racer Christian Roeder sneak by to take the lead and the win. 

Also racing for their season championships were the Jerry's Auto Supply Racing Series Kim Janke State Farm Youth Hornets and Schaeffer Oil Mini Stocks.

On Sept. 22, ERP will host the  2012 "Farm Boy Classic" Demo Derby Australian Pursuit sponsored by Inland Oil and Propane.

This will be a first time event on the oval. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing to begin at 7.
