For the fourth year in a row the Bigfork Little Hoopsters program is gearing up for another season of childrens basketball and deadline to sign up is quickly approaching.

Boys and girls ages kindergarten through fourth-grade will have half-hour basketball skills practices and half-hour long games at the Bigfork High School basketball court every Saturday morning in November through the first Saturday in December.

The program is ran entirely by volunteers, and over the last three years the program has grown from 125 participants to 145, and then 175 last year. The program was organized to promote athletic competition in a safe environment designed to enhance and develop character, teamwork, fundamentals, sportsmanship and fun for children through participation in a recreational league.

Cost for participation is $25 per athlete and $20 for a second athlete. For scholarships or additional information, contact Brenda Jordt at 837-3724 or 261-0390.
