The energetic sounds of Polka music will echo throughout Bigfork as the smells of brats, hot dogs, homemade German potato salad, sauerkraut, chocolate cake, German beer and wine will drift out the door for this year’s Oktoberfest celebration.

Bigfork’s John Paul II Catholic Church Knights of Columbus Council #14060 will hold their annual Oktoberfest in Brady Hall on Sept. 30 from 11:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Music will be performed by the Bavarian Echoes Polka Band.

A silent auction will be held, along with a raffle for a wrapped half-side of beef valued at $800. Raffle tickets are $5 each. Proceeds from the events will support various charitable needs in the Flathead Valley.

Tickets for the event are $12 for adults and $5 for children ages five and older. Tickets can be purchased at the door or from the Parish office.

Brady Hall is located in the bottom of the church at 195 Coverdell Road, just north of Bigfork off Montana 35.
