Parker G. Copley

Parker G. Copley, 85, a resident of Moses Lake, Washington, passed away on September 16, 2012.

He was born in North Dakota, November 27, 1926. Parker went to Milwaukie Hight School in Milwaukie, Oregon. He completed his diploma in the Army after being sent to Japan his senior year.  He was married to Ruth Copley for 64, she preceded him in death.

Parker was a machinist for most of his working life. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and enjoyed numerous outings with them. He was an officer in Toastmasters and belonged to the group for many years. He was also a contributing writer for Columbia Basin Business Journal and Columbia Basin Farmer newspapers.

He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn R. Copley-Casey and her husband, Bill Casey, and two grandsons, Michael Copley-Casey and Scott Linville.

Arrangements are in care of Susan Freeman at Pioneer Memorial Services, Moses Lake.
