Two injured in Tuesday shooting in Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE — Two people were injured in an early-morning shooting

Tuesday outside Frontier Middle School in what police suspect was a gang-related incident.

Moses Lake Police Capt. Dave Ruffin said a 31-year-old woman and 30-

year-old man sustained injuries from a single gunshot just before 3

a.m. near the intersection of West Third Avenue and South Elm Street.

Both were transported to Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake. The male victim was

later transported to a Spokane-area hospital.
