Watch your ankles: Dangerous diminutive dogs on the loose in C. Falls

Someone reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that a gang of five or six Chihuahuas was on the loose on Springer Road in the Columbia Falls area.

Deputies got a report Thursday regarding a sailboat breaking from its mooring and floating onto a neighbor’s property in the Lakeside area at Angel Point.

There was a report of a man in a camper trespassing on a property off Conrad Drive. The man was told to clean up the area and get off the property.

A chain saw and other items were reported stolen from unlocked vehicles on Bain Lane in the Kalispell area.

A crying man calling from Montana 35 in Evergreen reported that a woman had been shoving him after he broke up with her.

A woman calling from Grizzly Bear Gulch in the Kila area reported that her neighbor came at her with a hammer because she drove over the dog’s tail. After the man was contacted, he said that he didn’t wave the hammer at the woman; apparently the two have an ongoing neighbor issue.

An East Bowman Drive resident reported finding a window screen cut by someone trying to get into the house. There was recently an attempted burglary at a neighbor’s house.

At about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, a woman reported that someone tried to get into the front door of her house on East Evergreen Drive. The person tried to get in the back door before leaving.

Early Friday, at about 1:20 a.m., there was a report of a man and woman having a fight at a bar on Montana 35 in the Bigfork area. The woman apparently wanted the man to go outside, but he wouldn’t because he feared her husband would kill him.

A woman calling from Mountain View Drive reported that her boyfriend jumped through a window and pushed her around and threatened to hurt her. She said he wanted to get his belongings, and then he left.

A woman calling from Shady Lane reported that her boyfriend was spitting on and throwing things at her.

A woman reported that she was sexually assaulted by an unknown man to whom she gave a ride home.

A woman calling Thursday from Second Avenue East reported to the Kalispell Police Department that her son’s girlfriend wouldn’t leave after she asked her to move out five days ago. The girlfriend argued that she had 30 days to move out. Police advised the girlfriend to vacate the residence by Sunday or she would be charged with trespassing.

Around 6 p.m. Thursday, police received a report that a lane was blocked on West Center Street and North Meridian Road by a vehicle that had a tire fall off.

Police responded to a burglary on Third Avenue West Thursday. A woman said she and her husband heard someone knocking over a vase in their house and saw someone run out of the house. A suspect’s backpack was found in the garage, and he was later arrested for possession of drugs and burglary tools.

 A woman calling from Hutton Ranch Road reported that she ran over construction cones to avoid hitting someone who ran in front of her car. She said one of the cones was stuck under her vehicle, that she had no money to call a tow truck and she was too overweight to get under the car.

A person passed out in an alley on West Idaho Street was told to move along Thursday evening.

On Friday, a woman calling from Martha Road reported that a man hit her and knocked her down.

At 3:02 a.m. Friday, someone calling from Fourth Avenue West reported that a woman was beating a neighbor’s car with a big pipe.

A woman on Third Avenue East reported a threatening text message that said somebody wanted to kill her.

Police received a report Friday that a Rottweiler was growling and chasing a woman on Wolfpack Way.

A man calling from a Tenth Avenue West residence reported that his ex-wife was “putting her hands on him” and trying to push him down the stairs. He was locked in the basement with his girlfriend and could get out, but he didn’t want to leave because he didn’t want her to hit him in front of his son.

Someone reported that an ex-girlfriend took personal belongings from a Sherry Lane residence.

Columbia Falls Police got a report Thursday regarding a man stealing cigarettes from a store on Nucleus Avenue and then fleeing on a bicycle.
