KELLOGG - Preston Rhodes rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Timberlake Tigers past the Kellogg Wildcats 56-20 in Intermountain League play on Friday night at Teeters Field.

Daniel Buck and Keegan Scott added 81 and 78 yards rushing, respectively, for Timberlake. The Tigers amassed 493 yards of total offense.

"We got going a little slow on defense tonight," Timberlake coach Roy Albertson said. "We let them score first, but offensively we scored right away and then put up 28 consecutive points."

Albertson said the Tigers' defense is the bend-don't-break variety.

"We made some key stops and forced them to turn the ball over. On the other side of the ball, this was our best offensive performance of the season," he said.

Dakota Rice completed 5 of 8 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown to Austin Allen in the first quarter for Timberlake (2-3, 1-0 IML), which hosts Bonners Ferry on Friday.
