ANNIVERSARIES
Tom and Catherine Jacobson
65th Anniversary
Tom and Catherine Jacobson will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at their home.
The Jacobsons were married Oct. 11, 1947, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene. They have 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
All who know and love them, please stop by to celebrate with them.
Roy and Kathie (Caliendo) Anderson
50th Anniversary
Roy and Kathie (Caliendo) Anderson, of Hayden, celebrated their 50th anniversary on Sept. 23, 2012, at the Hayden Lake Country Club. The event was hosted by their children. Family and friends were invited.
Roy is retired as a psychologist and Kathie as a speech/language pathologist.
Their children are daughter Laura (Anderson) Kast, married to Tim Kast, of Coeur d'Alene; and son Craig Anderson of Spokane. They have two grandsons, James and T.J. Kast.

Estep-Lammi
Benjamen Allen Lammi and Jenny Marie Estep were married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on Aug. 16, 2012.
Jenny is the daughter of Ron and Sandee Estep of Spirit Lake. Benjamen is the son of the late David and Deborah Lammi of Queensland, Australia.
Receptions were held in Utah, Idaho and Australia. The couple honeymooned in Canada prior to making their home in Australia.
Baertsch-Krahn
Marci Quinn Baertsch and Chad Michael Krahn have joined in marriage. The wedding took place on Sept. 15, 2012, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula, Mont.
MILESTONE BIRTHDAY
Darrell I. Burrell (Burr)
95th Birthday
Happy Birthday Burr! Darrell I. Burrell (Burr) recently celebrated his 95th birthday. He was born Sept. 29, 1917, in Wilford and retired from working with Dale Carnegie and Assoc. as an instructor, trainer and sponsor.
His work gave him the opportunity to travel extensively in the U.S. and abroad and is proud to settle down in his home state of Idaho - and loves Coeur d'Alene!
In honor of this happy event Burr began celebrating by enjoying the wonderful opera "Carmen" and the musical "Oklahoma!" And will conclude with a special "surprise party" given by his daughter Patti Spain and family in Albuquerque, N.M.
Happy birthday my darling, your wife, Dian.
BIRTHS
Jackson Wyatt Corder was born at 12:15 p.m. Sept. 18, 2012, to Ariel and Theodore Corder Jr. of Hayden. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 18.5 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Robert and Lynda Burden, and Jim and Linda Wines. Paternal grandparents are Ted and Shelly Corder.
Brady Lytle Yarbrough was born at 7:55 a.m. Sept. 25, 2012, to Zachary and Shanna Yarbrough of Coeur d'Alene. He weighed 9 lbs. and was 21 1/4 inches long. He joins his brother, Brock Austin Yarbrough. Maternal grandparents are Larry and Teresa Lytle. Paternal grandparents are Stan and Claudia Yarbrough.
MILITARY
Navy Seaman Recruit Marc H. Mumford, son of Becky L. and Kevin L. Mumford of Hayden, Idaho, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
During the eight-week program, Mumford completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.
Mumford is a 2012 graduate of Lakeland Senior High School in Rathdrum.
Air Force Airman David N. Lopez graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
Lopez is the son of Brenda Lopez of Post Falls. He is a 2009 graduate of Post Falls High School.
