A mad dash to the finish: Shay Nelson runs past Greg Tatum barely missing him as the battle began to collect the most eggs. The annual Easter egg hunt was located at the Fred Young Park in Plains and put on by the Plains Lions Club.

PLAINS – The Koo-Koo-Sint fires have merged after 25 to 30 mile per hour winds, 95-degree weather and 15 percent relative humidity came together to create perfect conditions for the fire to grow.
