PLAINS - The Sanders County Search and Rescue team put on a search to look for a 17 year-old male up on River Road West on Wednesday, March 27.

According to members of the search and rescue team, the juvenile, whose name was not released, was allegedly handcuffed by his parents after an argument and took off on foot into the woods.

The male was wearing blue jeans, a blue denim jacket and a cowboy hat.

Missing since 5 p.m., and with the temperatures slowly starting to dip as the evening stretched on, the search and rescue team began setting up camp on the pullover area on McCrea Road.

The teen who was missing for close to four hours was later found and the search and rescue team was called off.
