JONG-UN: Wants to have perks of Seoul

Kim Jong-un is the leader of North Korea and is the world’s youngest head of state. He could also go down in history as the man who removed the DMZ (demilitarized zone). He’s just a kid. He is believed to be about 29 or 30. Dennis Rodman proved that when he visited there with his basketball diplomacy. The two of them were just partying down at a game.

Just across the DMZ is Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Seoul is considered a megacity with a population of more than 10 million. It is part of the world’s top four metropolitan cities, Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City and New York City. Seoul has the world’s fastest Internet connections with speeds up to 1Gbps. The multinational corporation Samsung is also headquartered in Seoul. If you look at a NASA photograph of Korea at night, it will show the extreme difference in economic activity. This July will be the 60th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.

Kim Jong-un wants to have all the goodies, the perks and luxuries that Seoul has to offer. No problem, give it to him with only one condition. Everybody gets in, not just a privileged few. All the South Koreans with their Internet-connected cell phones will rush to help their neighbors to the north get connected. Kim Jong-un will be a hero to both sides.
