Sportsman's Expo set for April 27-28

COEUR d'ALENE - The North Idaho Sportsman's Expo, RV and Boat Show will be held at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds in Coeur d'Alene April 27-28.

The show is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 27 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 28.

Weekend passes are $6 for adults and $4 for youth and seniors.

The Outdoor Adventure Theater will be a part of the Expo, highlighting features from Idaho Public Television. There will be presentations by Tony McCalmant, Bass Angler of the Year 2005; Seth Burrell, Angler's Experience owner; Bob Ploof and Ted Broadwell, professional fishermen; and Brian Farley, guide and hunter.

There will also be: vendors; the Timberworks Lumberjack Show with such events as log rolling, speed pole climbing and ax throwing; more than 150 boats and RVs; an ATV pavilion; a pack-and-camp area; a Babe Cave full of gear and activities for women; the Frontier Communications Sportsman's Lounge; chili and dutch oven cook-offs; kids' trout fishing pond; hunting dog demonstrations; and a kids' inflatable area.
