Donna Homiller Festersen, 81, resident of Killeen, Texas, died April 5, 2013, at the Arbor House Assisted Living Facility in Temple, Texas. Donna was born June 17, 1931, to Earl and Muriel Madson in St. Maries.
Donna lived her early years in the Coeur d’Alene area until marrying Cliff Homiller on June 1, 1957. After his death in 1987, she met and married John Festersen. She was the office manager for the Spokane Social Security Administration office for many years. After her husband John died in 2004, she moved to Texas to be close to her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Rosalind Homiller.
Donna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Rosalind Homiller of Killeen; stepdaughters, Linda Bridges of Rockville, Md., and Leslie Burts of San Antonio, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene.
