Swim team

The Columbia Falls Swim Team will hold a registration at Teakettle Community Room, 235 Nucleus Avenue, on Sunday, April 21, from 2-6 p.m. Students ages 5-18 are invited to join. For more information, contact Jenni Cheff at 261-9363.

Fun run

Uphill skiers need to be aware of avalanches on Big Mtn.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
