Field Day tournament to be 2nd of golf season

ROYAL CITY - Spring Field Day, the second tournament of the course benefit season at the Royal Golf Course, is set for April 27.
Spring Field Day will be a four-person scramble (men, women or mixed). There will be a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
"Make your own teams," tournament director and RGC superintendent Kyle Arthur said.
There will be prizes for the low one-third of the field.
The entry fee will be $30 per person for non-members and $25 for members and will include the green fee. Powered carts will be available. Check-in time will be 9 a.m.
There will be special games, including long drive, closest-to-the-pin and longest putt. There will be team mulligans on sale at $4 each.
There will be a team par-4 honey pot at $10 per team. There will be a team straight drive and a beverage cart.
