COEUR d'ALENE - TESH is rolling out a new event to raise funds to help those with disabilities.

The Coeur d'Alene-based nonprofit, which serves people of all ages, will hold a murder mystery dinner and auctions on Saturday, May 4 at 5 p.m. at Settler's Creek on Riverview Drive off U.S. 95 just south of Coeur d'Alene.

"This is our signature event for the spring," said Russ Doumas, CEO of TESH. "We're designing it so people can look forward to coming every year.

"Settler's Creek (a renovated barn) is a beautiful venue, and we're looking to make this a fun and enjoyable event."

The $50 cost includes a gourmet dinner with roast, pork tenderloin and chicken, dessert, beverages, live and silent auctions, music and the mystery performed by Coeur d'Alene Charter drama students.

Auction items include passes to Silverwood Theme Park, Sunset Bowling, Frontier Arena and Regal Cinemas and a dinner for four.

Doumas said the nonprofit hopes to raise about $10,000 for multiple programs within TESH at the event.

About 25 tickets remain on sale. To buy tickets or for more information, call 765-5105. The attendance will be capped at 75. Dress is casual.
