This year’s fair concerts offer something for oldies fans and country music lovers.
Cruising the Oldies, featuring pop hits from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s, and country singer Chris Young are the headliners at this summer’s Northwest Montana Fair.
Cruising the Oldies features music by The Fleetwoods, Johnny Tillotson, Brian Hyland and Shirelles lead singer Shirley Alston Reeves.
The artists will perform the songs that made them famous in rock and pop’s early decades, including “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow,” “Poetry in Motion” and “Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.”
The concert starts at 7 p.m. Aug. 13.
Young is an up-and-coming country music star whose songs include “I Can Take it From There,” “Voices” and “The Man I Want to Be.” He performs at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14.
Ticket sales begin at 8 a.m. Thursday. Purchase them online at nwmtfair.com or at the fairgrounds office in Kalispell.
