Philip Richard Hoialmen, 76, passed away March 5, 2013, from natural causes at his home in Coeur d’Alene. He was born Sept. 4, 1936, in Foston, Minn

Philip joined the Marines at 17 and proudly served for six years. He was a member of the Painters Union for more than 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lois and their children, Vernie, Steven, Jeffrey, Jane and Brian; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank his extended family, the Zahnow and Hoialmens, and his close neighbors for all their love and support.

The family plans to have a full military service in San Diego later this summer.
